Welcome to Arundel, Maine!

Arundel

Conveniently located in beautiful Southern Maine, the area known as Arundel was part of Kennebunkport until 1915, at which time it was set off and named North Kennebunkport and later renamed Arundel by the state legislature. Bordered by the towns of Kennebunkport, Kennebunk, Dayton, Lyman and Biddeford, Arundel has a total area of 24 square miles and a year-round population of just over 4,000 residents.

Arundel is just minutes from Exit 4 of the Maine Turnpike, 20 miles to Portland Jetport, 90 miles to Boston & Logan International Airport and minutes from the Shops at Biddeford Crossing, a 520,000 sq. ft. shopping center with about 30 retailers including Target, Staples, Pet Smart, T.J. Maxx, Olympia Sports, and Best Buy as well as several restaurants.

With its proximity to several Southern Maine beaches and the mountains of Western Maine, Arundel offers year-round recreational opportunities for every outdoor enthusiast. Antique lovers will also delight in the number of local shops where trinkets and treasures can be found.
